First of all, I get a kick out of this episode because of William Atherton. He was the jerky reporter in "Die Hard," and the arrogant environmentalist in "Ghostbusters," so to see him play someone sympathetic is interesting.
Secondly, this episode plays on an old mystery variation: the lights go out, and when they come back up, there is a body on the floor. A blind man does seem to be the most logical suspect, but there are enough red herrings in this one (the jealous wife, the bootleg tapes) to keep you guessing.
Lastly, this is a mystery you CAN figure out if you're sharp-eyed. Some episodes pull the final clue out of thin air, but this one plays fair with you every step of the way.
