  • When bad weather forces Jessica's bus trip to be delayed, she and Amos must contend with a dead man and several people with motive for murder.

This was a wonderful episode because it really keeps you on the edge of your seat. It is difficult to figure out who the killer is, especially because there are so many people with motive. As usual, there is one suspicious character who is later cleared, but all the others remain suspects throughout the show. In addition, this episode is unique in that it allows Sheriff Tupper to contribute to solving the mystery. For once, he doesn't come off as a blubbering fool who never should have been trusted with any kind of law enforcement. It does a lot for his character. Jessica's character is really starting to come together in this episode as well. In the earlier episodes she often displayed an overly emotional side, which later disappears almost completely. In this one, however, the character that is prominent throughout most of the series is really defined. An excellent watch!
