Frank and Murphy have gone on assignment somewhere. They are on a plane and it's in distress. They truly believe they are about to die, and they turn to each other for comfort. Each of them also pictures their funeral. This is where the fun begins.
Murphy sees herself in her coffin and much to her dismay she finds herself dressed in a dress that Corky had picked out. Murphy said "I wouldn't be caught dead in that dress!"
Frank sees Murphy's coffin (they are having a joint wake) but cannot find his. His gaze finds a small urn off to the side. He is mortified to find he has been cremated. Worse still, a janitor goes through the room and accidentally knocks the urn to the floor with the end of his broom handle. Frank's ashes spill all over the floor. When no one is looking, the janitor sweeps Frank's ashes under a rug.
This is classic Murphy Brown and was my favorite episode ever.
