Music Time with SteveSongs

Show Summary

Music Time with SteveSongs is a music-video TV show that showcases original songs performed on the PBS Kids Network from an award-winning children's musician. SteveSongs (Steve Roslonek) takes time off from the Preschool Destination show to film some of his children's hits in twenty-minute segments. The musician introduces the show's theme before each episode, and he begins the season playing his hits "Woo Hoo!" and "Rockets" at a Fourth of July party. The musician and his band visit an insect zoo in the next episode, and they sing "No Bigger than a Bug" just before choosing which insect they like the most while crooning the song, "I Like..." SteveSongs visits different places throughout the season, which becomes the subject of the songs performed in each episode. In one segment, the musician visits a pizza parlor. In another, some neighborhood kids and the band learn to tell time in a clock factory. By the end of the season, SteveSongs teaches kids a little about playing and creating music, when some children visit the musician's studio, which inspires the band to perform the song "Rhyming Machine."
