Laser beams aren't visible (except if the air is filled with smoke or heavy particles), and having a visible security laser web seems to defeat the purpose of having such a thing in the first place.
What's the limit on Jessie's ability to phase other objects with him? He needs to toss the lightweight key card because he can't take it with him (apparently - he might just be showing off but this seems unlikely given the dangerous situation). And he says he can't phase the Faberge Egg. However, he can phase his clothing and the radio headset with him. Are they specially treated perhaps?
As predicted, Eckhart's memory (wiped in the previous episode, "Presumed Guilty") is totally intact here, to the point that he remembers his favorite composer. That means that he knows where Sanctuary is, which clearly isn't the case in this and subsequent episodes.
Not exactly a goof, but what type of New Mutant is Zack? He can sort of project his consciousness of what he sees (a Psion), but has a kind of X-ray vision (an Elemental, perhaps) and his abilities certainly "defy physical science" (a Molecular, to quote the Genomex website). This point is never really clarified.
Brennan: Why don't you just phase through the door, grab the egg, and then we can get out of here.
Jesse: Well, because it might be a little impossible for me to take anything with me when I phase back through.
Brennan: Oh, yeah, that's right. Yeah. So you do need me after all.
Jesse: We all need you, Brennan.
(to Shalimar in the garden)
Emma: Are you just going to sit here and brood all day? Or are you just practicing intimidating the plants?
Artie: If I had a clue that Zack didn't have the stomach for it...
Eckhart: That's exactly the clue I expect you to have.
Eckhart: Optimism has never been one of my strong suits.
Shalimar: The genetic code to manipulating free will is in that [Fabergé] egg.
Zack: It's amazing what's in eggs these days.
Shalimar: If you ever think of me again, you'll live to regret it. But not for very long.
In what may be an example of low budgeting, for the first time since the show began airing, there are absolutely no speaking parts credited beyond the two actors in the opening credits. Typically not having to put someone in the credits at all means they are paid less, so it's typically used as a minor cost-cutting effort.
