AIRED:
One Billionaire Twelve Corporate All Stars The Con Of A Lifetime!

Welcome to my world.

The victims of FOX's My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss arrive at a corporate tower where they meet business executive Mr. N. Paul Todd. In a PowerPoint presentation, he informs him of the holdings of his vast, multi-billion dollar corporation, IOCOR. What the victims haven't been told and don't know is that Mr. N. Paul Todd is actually actor William August and IOCOR is a fictitious corporation. Mr. Todd welcomes them to "his world" and they all seem to be bamboozled into thinking they're starting something big. Later on, they are split into two groups of six men and six women and assigned their first challenge. Each team will come up with a degrading name for the opposing team --- Femron is chosen for the women and Concad for the men. The teams are then subjected to their humiliating challenge - panhandling - in which the winners receive a reward, while the losers are punished and must face elimination. The girls win and are "rewarded" with sleeping on uncomfortable beds of money, while the guys must sleep in a creepy section of town in tents. Later, the guys are sent to Mr. Todd's office, where they're further humiliated and two of them are chosen to face a possible elimination.moreless

    • TRIVIA (0)

    • QUOTES (2)

    • NOTES (8)

      • The program generally starts one minute late, at 9:01 P.M.

      • In addition to executive producers Chris Cowan and Jean-Michel Michenaud, many other members of this show's staff were also responsible for the making of My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiancé.

      • The name of the obnoxious boss Mr. N. Paul Todd, portrayed by actor William August, is actually an anagram for Donald Trump, who is the big money boss on NBC's The Apprentice, the program which this show parodies.

      • Viewers learn that the person making the decisions as to who will be eliminated is not, in fact, the obnoxious boss Mr. N. Paul Todd. Instead, Mr. Todd is given the results from a "mystery boss" who will not be revealed until the season finale.

      • In this episode, the guys and girls are asked to choose team names for each other in a bit of corporate sabotage. The girls choose to name the guys Concad --- combining two words, "con" and "cad." (Cad is a word for a man whose behavior is unprincipled or dishonorable.) The guys choose to name the girls Femron. Their hope is to degrade them by putting in people's minds a negative association with the infamous Enron scandal.

      • This episode introduces the idea of rewards and punishments for the winning and losing teams respectively. This is something that is not followed up in later episodes. Although they are mentioned, they are not aired.

      • The following organizations, businesses and people are credited under Special Thanks in every episode: Chicago Film Office, Illinois Film Office, Wexler Video, Spectrum Real Estate, Jerry Lasky, Murray Peretz.

      • Daniel is the first victim eliminated.
