Episode Summary

If there's one color that makes David Tutera's skin crawl, it's green. Naturally, he was horrified to find that his latest bride, Bernadette Davis, had infused her wedding with the colors kiwi and cream. With only three weeks before the wedding, the colors and too-small venue have to go, even as David remains determined to transform his bride into the African Queen of which she dreams. Working off just a picture of the bride's frumpy dress was enough for David to bring Bernadette to Bridal Reflections and place her in a gown that has her glowing. While there, the bridesmaids' gowns are swapped out in favor of tribal wraps supplied by Weavers. Then, it's time for a makeover, as Bernadette spends the day before her wedding at Mark Garrison salon receiving a pampering, new hairstyle and a beautiful new African headpiece that helps her become a better bride and a better woman. Finally, David announces that Bernadette's wedding would be moved from the tiny venue she'd reserved, to the Pearl S. Buck Estate, which would be blown out like an African safari to fit his African Queen.moreless
