Episode Summary

Ever since she saw the movie "Sabrina," Harlem bride Corryn Conyer has dreamt of looking like Audrey Hepburn on her wedding day. When David Tutera met Corryn just three weeks before she walked down the aisle, he realized her wedding was far from a Hollywood fairy tale. Her bridal gown lacked sophistication, her bouquets were made of sponges, and her cake was made of styrofoam! As David springs into action, his first step is to give the bride and her bridesmaids fabulous retro dresses and show stopping gowns that would make even Audrey Hepburn jealous. Next, David surprises his bride by replacing her fake engagement ring with a spectacular diamond ring. Just when Corryn thought David couldn't do any more for her, he announces that her wedding will be moved to Twenty Four Fifth, a ballroom in what used to be the Fifth Hotel in New York City. Not only does the venue have the elegance of another era, but David uses it for both a ceremony space and a glorious reception that resembles a 1950's film set.moreless
