EDIT
Darby, Solo Sleuth / Doggone Buster
AIRED:
Darby, Solo Sleuth: A cold is going around the Hundred Acre Wood and Kanga needs lemons to add to a special soup she's making to ease everyone's sniffles. When Pooh and Tigger catch the cold, Darby and Buster are left to sleuth out how to get some lemons themselves. Rabbit was supposed to deliver them, but it seems he's feeling under the weather himself, so the girl and her dog find themselves searching all over the Hundred Acre Wood to get lemons.

Doggone Buster: When Darby briefly leaves Buster alone, he ends up joining Roo and Lumpy on an adventure to their fort. Since they didn't tell anyone where they were going, Darby ends up thinking that Buster is lost. The Super Sleuths are soon on the case, trying to track down just where the little dog has gone.moreless

      • Darby: And now I think it's time to teach Buster a new trick.
        Tigger: Juggling?
        Darby: No. Stay!

      • Darby: So Buster must be with...
Tigger, Pooh and Darby: Lumpy and Roo!
Pooh: And another mystery is-- oh bother. Now we don't know where to look for Buster, or Lumpy or Roo.

      • Woodpecker: Found it. Not him. But his. Puppy tracks. That way. (He uses a wing to point.) Good luck. (salutes)
        Darby: Thanks, Woodpecker.
Woodpecker: You're quite welcome, of course.

      • Darby: Buster loves to chase butterflies in the meadow. Maybe he's here.
Tigger: (as a butterfly lands on his nose and butterflies fly around) I don't know. These butterflies look pretty unchased.

      • Tigger: Any time,
        Pooh: any place,
        Darby: the Super Sleuths
Tigger, Pooh and Darby: are on the case!
        Tigger: Uh, barkity-bark?
Pooh: Where, oh where has that little dog gone?

      • Pooh: (blowing along in a very stiff wind) Excuse me.
Tigger: Huh! Flying Poohs. Sure is strange weather we're having.
Darby: Help me catch him, Tigger!

      • Darby: (tossing a stick) Go get it, Buster! Good boy, Buster.
Lumpy: He always brings back the stick. Brilliant!

      • Darby: I wish Tigger was here. He could bounce so high, he'd reach the lemons easy. (Buster whines.) If we can't get to the lemons, maybe can make the lemons come to us.

      • Darby: Beaver, we found you! Sounds like you have the same cold as Tigger and Pooh and Roo and Rabbit.
Beaver: A cold? Tuh! I just thought it was hay fever. Then again, my nose has been running so much lately, I was thinking of entering it in a foot race.

      • Darby: (to the viewer) It sure is great having you along. It'd be really lonely being on a sleuth case by ourselves.

      • Tigger: It just gets me all tearified, thinkin' of our little Dar-Dar out there on a sleuther case all by her lonesome.

      • Pooh: Why are you wearing your Super Sleuth cap?
Darby: We have a case. Didn't you hear the sleuther siren?
Tigger: Nah. Afraid the bear and me can't hear much anything on account of we got stuffed-uppity ears.
Pooh: Ooh. To go along with the stuffing in our noses.

    • NOTES (1)

      • This episode was released directly to the DVD "Friendly Tails" on March 4, 2008. It was aired on Playhouse Disney in the United States for the first time on Saturday, August 16, 2008.

    • ALLUSIONS (2)

      • Pooh : Where, oh where has that little dog gone?

This is a play on the nursery rhyme:

"Oh where, oh where has my little dog gone? Oh where, oh where can he be? With his ears cut short, and his tail cut long, Oh where, oh where is he?"

      • Darby: Okay, so this morning I left Buster here with Lumpy. And we haven't seen Buster or Lumpy all day.
Pooh: So perhaps they were seeing each other?
Tigger: And maybe Roo-boy is with 'em too. He is Lumpy's best friend forever and all. I mean, you heard the song.

Presumably, Tigger is referring to the song "Shoulder to Shoulder" from the 2005 Pooh's Heffalump Movie. In this song, which celebrated Lumpy and Roo's budding friendship, Carly Simon sang "I've never had a best friend before / So I can't be sure what it feels like / But I think it feels more like this I do / I think I feel more like myself when I'm with you."
