  • Trivia

    • Adam Lyon finally becomes an honorary zoo animal in this episode.

    • This is the second episode that Jackie (the human girl who looks like Jake Spidermonkey) appears in and this is the second episode where Adam Lyon's love of Captain Clowny Land comes into play. The first appearances of these subjects were Cheer Pressure, Glazed and Confused respectfully.

  • Quotes

    • Adam Lyon: Where will I go? What will I do for my life if I'm not a Professional Zookeeper? Principal Pixiefrog: Adam, your concentration and determination has proven to me that you can do anything that you set your mind to! Of course, it doesn't matter what I think. What matters is what you think, and whatever you think you can achieve, you can be! Jake: And even if that doesn't work, you'll always have the zoo!

    • Principal Pixiefrog: Adam Lyon, what are you doing here?! I told you that you should be spending some time among your own kind! Adam: I am! It's just occured to me that maybe it wasn't a mistake that I was sent to an animal school. Maybe it's my destiny to work amongst animals as a part of my future career!

  • Notes

  • Allusions

    • Aladdin:
The title of the episode is a parody of the award winning song "A Whole New World" from the animated Disney masterpiece movie.

    • The Fugitive: When Jake Spidermonkey dives off from the high creek waterfall in order to elude capture from Adam Lyon, the way he jumps is a direct reference to the way Harrison Ford's character jumped off a high river waterfall in the 1993 movie adaptation of the 1960's T.V. series.

    • Mickey Mouse Cartoons: When Jake Spidermonkey asks a zoo attendent for a smoothie with a mickey, he brings back a shake with a mouse on it. The mouse looks a lot like the Disney company's Mickey Mouse drawn as a My Gym Partner's a Monkey character! The mouse even has the same trademark pants and shoes! This is probably both to parody and to honor the original cartoon talking animal.

    • Squirrel Boy: When Adam Lyon is put into a mold-making machine, his head gets changed to resemble Rodney J. Squirrel, one of the stars from one of Cartoon Network's other shows featuring talking animals.
