Episode Summary

EDIT
Carny Crazy / Up and Adam
AIRED:
Carny Crazy: When the Charles Darwin Middle School carnival arrives, Adam becomes obsessed with winning a cheap Princess Ballerina Snow Globe for his collection. He tries to win them by throwing balls at dung beetles, but he misses every time. Up and Adam: On his first try, Adam passes Safety Class and he is rewarded the key to the Lookout Tower, which is a bachelor pad at the top of the school. His assignment is to look for any trouble to the school (especially pirates, clowns, and lawyers), however the assignment is made difficult when his friends want to use it to throw a big party. What's worse is that only one person is allowed on the tower and when he kicks a beehive, it hits pirates in a parade for floats. Then the clowns come after them and the lawyers try to sue since they crashed into the wreck.moreless

  • This episode got me sick

    2.5
The whole Gym Parter cartoon is stupid and not even 1% as good as the original Catscrach, but some episodes are even more boring than others, like this one.

Episode "Carny Crazy" is typical childlish. One hero (Adam) and 10 villains (Students). How cliche...

I thought this cartoon is going to be like Catscrach, but it seems like CatDog & Yakkity Yak & it's more for children. Like the original Catscrach, but My Gym Partner's a Monkey isn't good enough or appropriate for children...moreless
  • This show is very funny. Jake is a laugh-a-minute monkey who\'s mind is clearly messed up.

This show is very funny. Jake is a laugh-a-minute monkey who's mind is clearly messed up. The synopsis of the show sounds oddly familiar. It's got some good actors. The writers were really thinking outside the box on this one. That's what I think anyway. Anyone out there agree with me? Anyone else notice that Jake's voice sounds nearly identical to that of Jack Spicer from Xiaolin Showdown? Their names are also vaguely similar. Look at their initials for goodness sake. Jack Spicer; J.S. Jake Spidermonkey; J.S. Jake is also a bit of a winer, alot like Jack. This is just weird.moreless

  • TRIVIA (4)

    • Carny Crazy: Continuity error: On Adam's first attempt to win the snowglobe of his dreams, he throws one of three dung balls directly in front of him, but misses. The scene cuts away for a split second, but the two remaining dung balls are nowhere to be seen. Another brief cut, and the two remaining dung balls have re-appeared (supposition: artists may have been confused by the three "fixed" dung balls on the game counter in the background just to Adam's right).

    • Apparently, Jake and Windsor can speak Japanese, but are unaware of it. This is noticed in "Carny Crazy" after Jake and Adam meet up with Windsor and Slips.

    • Lady Lyon (only her arms and some of her clothing) can be seen in Carny Crazy.

    • Credits: The students dance in the Lookout Tower and Slips falls out of it.

  • QUOTES (5)

    • Jake: So, do you still think the carnival is for little kids and babies?
Adam: No. Now, I think it's for crazy people.

    • Mr. Hornbill: The one and only rule of animal safety is get out of the way!
Jake: Um, could you repeat that?
      Henry: Yeah, it's so confusing.

    • Adam: I guess it's okay, as long it's just my closest friends.
Henry: Gotcha, Buddy. come on up, Fellas! (The Spiffies follow Henry, followed by the Pride Posse, by Bull, by Latanya, Joanie, and Margaret.)

    • Coach Gills: (while trying to sell herself at the carnival) Yoo-hoo! Who wants to buy me up and take me home? Hello! Phinnius: Uh... maybe I do have enough prizes.

    • Adam: (angrily) I can't believe I can't knock down those stupid beetles!
