Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (8)

    • Running gags in this episode: 1. In Lie, Cheetah, Steal, Coach Gills narrates in her head and people around her can hear it.
      2. In An Inconvenient Goof, Adam Lyon keeps saying that his hair-do is not a perm, even though in the end, it turns out that it is a perm.

    • "Lie, Cheetah, Steal" Billboard gag: Say no to Slugs.

    • We learn that Margaret, Joanie, and Latanya have perfect attendance all year.

    • Marks the second time Adam and Jake are at the Arctic side of the school, the first in "Cool Kids."

    • We learn the Narwhal's name is Marco.

    • Cheetahs cannot retract their claws, so why did Mr. Cheetah have them retracted before he climbed the tree?

    • Mr. Cheetah's statement's about himself are based on fact:

Cheetahs are not actually the fastest land animal. See, speed can be measured as either the distance someone travels in a period of time, or the number of body lengths a person can travel in a second. The tiger beetle does 171 LENGTHS PER SECOND, compared to the cheetahs 25.

Cheetahs still need water, but it's possible that they can go a while without much water.

Cheetahs are the only cat species that cannot retract its claws, This gives it grip so it can go faster and make sharp turns easily while chasing prey.

    • The cricket in the start of "Lie, Cheetah, Steal", is from the Episode "Grub Drive" who said "Sorry." in both episodes.

  • QUOTES (1)

Gills: Stop talking about the Schroedinger equations, Spidermonkey!

  • NOTES (0)

    • An Inconvenient Truth:
The episode title segment of An Inconvenient Goof is a play-on word reference to the Al Gore documentary of An Inconvenient Truth. Also, both the movie and the episode segment had global warming as a focus point.

    • The push-icle that Horris is struggling with is similar to the Push-up, a yogurt popsicle that you push up, hence the name.
