    • Eddie the Panther guy has new Headgear.

    • David Coppertrout re-appears from "The Magic Fish".

    • When Mrs. Warthog punched the screen after losing 537 solitaire games, the monitor should've automatically turned off. But why didn't it?

    • End Credits: The Spiffies continue to pretend that they're getting whooshed around by the speed of light saying "Shoom" continuously.

    • Two running gags in this episode are that Rick Platypus keeps talking about wanting to drink Brain Juice & he keeps laughing over every little thing that Adam Lyon says!

  • Quotes

    • Principal Pixiefrog: You know, Maurice, it's wonderful how you've overcome your debilitating fear of heights.
Mr. Mandrill: Thanks. I'd almost forgotten.

    • Adam: You must be new here.
Rick: And you must be Captain Obvious! My name is Rick, Rick Platypus but you can call me Rick Platypus.

  • Notes

  • Allusions

    • When everyone is drinking Brain Juice, Slips says "We all is", replying to Ingrid's comment on feeling smarter. This is an exact quote from "Making the Grade".

    • The machine that everyone takes from the Spiffies' was Phinnius' entry in the school science fair in My Science Project.

    • Phinnius Porpoise: Warp factor 3, warp factor 7! / These are both light speed settings on the U.S.S. Enterprise from the old T.V. show Star Trek. Additionally, the Spiffies also wear colored uniforms typically seen on that show.

    • World Weekly Snooze: This is an allusion/parody reference to the tabloid newspaper World Weekly News. In addition, the newspaper cover also has a reference to the Ed, Edd, n' Eddy episode The Ed's Are Coming as the title reads Cul-de-sac abducted by aliens and it even has Ed, Edd, and Eddy on the cover!

    • That Darn Cat!: The episode title of That Darn Platypus is likely a reference to the failed 1997 live-action Disney movie called That Darn Cat!
