  • Jenny ventures into the outside world, then its her first day at school.

    9.0
Two amusing and well-plotted cartoons make up the second episode of the series. In the first, Jenny wants to go to the town fair, but Dr. Wakeman forbids it, concerned about the townspeople's reaction. The fun parts of this cartoon include Jenny testing out her weapons, her tantrum when Mom says she can't go, then her joy when Mom announces she'll try to make an human exoskeleton for her. The second episode has Jenny going to high school for the first time and encountering the Crust Cousins. Brad tries to warn Jenny about them ( I like his concern that he shows for her throughout) but she is totally naive, and has to learn things on her own. Anyway things do work out in the end, sort of. In these early episode Jenny is so charming.moreless
  • My first episode

    9.9
I would have caught MLAATR the day it premiered but me and my family went out to dinner that night, so I missed it. But luckily, I was able to catch the premiere of the 2nd episode a week later. And I think this was a fine example because in Raggedy Android, we get introduced to the costume Jenny has to wear if she wants to look like a normal girl, even though it didn't work so well in this episode (but it did in Return of the Raggedy Android). And in Class Action, Jenny goes to school for the first time and meets the Krust Cousins, two evil girl cousins who are always planning to ruin Jenny's life throughout the series. Overall, great episode with some introductions to some people alongside.moreless

  • QUOTES (7)

    • Jenny: If you don't let me go...I'll...I'll...
Mrs. Wakeman: Don't you raise your lasers to me, young lady.
      Jenny: (crying)
Mrs. Wakeman: XJ9, calm down. You're scaring me!
Jenny: Great! Even you're scared of a freaky robot!

    • Brad: And this year, Tuck's gonna face his fears and ride the Ferris Wheel!
      Jenny: Tuck's afraid of heights?
Brad: No, giant wheels. Anything bigger than a car tire gives him the heebie-jeebies.
Tuck: But this year, I'm gonna beat Mr. Ferris and his Giant Hoop of Horror!

    • Brad: Come on Doc, I'm sure no one will notice her.
Dr. Wakeman: A six and a half foot mechanical girl, and no one will notice?

    • (Jenny is crying because she is a total freak)
Ms. Wakeman: XJ9, Calm Down. You're scaring me!
Jenny: GREAT! Even you're scared of the freaky robot!

    • Mrs. Wakeman: You're lucky you come with an instruction manual. I certainly wish humans did.

    • (Tuck is screaming)
      Brad: What's that screaming?
      (Tuck stops screaming)
      Tuck: That's me.
      (Tuck starts screaming again)

    • Tuck: They look like ants.
      Brad: Frantic, screaming ants.
