Rarity's redemption

If you recall episode 16, Sonic Rainboom, we saw Rarity at her worst, but for those like me who love Rarity then this is the episode for you. It starts with Rarity and Spike in a gem field gathering gems for Rarity's dresses. In hiding there are three dogs called the Diamond Dogs who plan to steal Rarity for their own use. As they move to capture her, Spike tries to save her, but the dogs take Rarity to their underground prison. Spike yells in frustration and goes back to Ponyville to get Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Applejack. They race back to the kidnapping site to rescue Rarity, but the trail is cold. There are multiple holes leading underground and the ponies try to enter one of them, but the dogs beat them up. Spike then pulls out a gem and a fishing pole and uses it as bait to get him into the Diamond Dogs' base. Spike and the ponies are pulled underground when the bait works and they see more mazes and paths. The ponies and Spike fear that Rarity is scared and it causes Spike to rush forward to find Rarity. In the prison, Rarity is not scared, but instead bosses the dogs around for how dark smelly and damp the place is. She complains at first, but then moves to whining and the dogs can't take it anymore. Spike and the others find Rarity and the dogs give her up without a fight. Twilight learns that with the right skills that any pony can get out of a terrible situation. The episode ends with Spike happily eating away gems and the group laughing. This was the episode that redeemed Rarity for her actions in Sonic Rainboom. I loved Spike's fantasy with rescuing Rarity as well as how Rarity was acting around the Diamond Dogs, especially the whining scene. This was a perfect episode overall and I loved it a lot. If you are looking for a great Rarity episode, then here it is!

I Have a Whole New Respect for Rarity Now.

After seeing Rarity at her worst in "Sonic Rainboom", this episode has made me renew my respect for her.You have to give her her props for the way she outsmarted those daimond dogs. I'll admit that it wasn't a very difficult task to do, but she still proves herself very brave and clever. I also admire Spike's courage in his quest to save her. This episode is a must for Sparity (Spike and Rarity) fans. I give it a perfect ten.moreless

I thought that this was an excellent episode of "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic". It had a well done plot and it had some funny parts along the way. Rarity and Spike go out and find a bunch of gems until a group of creatures kidnapped Rarity to force her to find and dig up gems just for them. Spike then rush to get the other ponies Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Twilight to come help him rescue Rarity. Spike and the other ponies going to save Rarity was pretty cool. I thought Rarity digging was very funny and the Diamond Dogs getting impatient with her because the way she digs was very funny. Spike having fantasies of having rescuing Rarity was very funny as well. Spike using Twilight as his horse to hit the door or something like that was also funny. It was also hilarious the Diamond Dogs decided to let Rarity and the other ponies having gems when the Diamond Dogs could handle Rarity crying. The ending was funny as well. Overall, this was an excellent episode of "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic" and it's definitely one of the best of the season. 10/10moreless
