I'm gonna say this isn't my favorite Friendship is Magic episode, but this one was very good overall. The episode begins with Rainbow Dash trying to get away from Pinkie Pie so she can be alone, but ends up hurting herself. After a few attempts, Rainbow is told by Pinkie to help her do something. Rainbow moves a cloud near the post office and makes a thunderstorm just as Spike leaves and scares him. Rainbow is impressed that Pinkie loves to pull pranks and the pair spend the day together pulling pranks on Rarity, Twilight Sparkle, and Applejack. They don't pull a prank on Fluttershy since she is very sensitive. The next day Pinkie is wearing a silly hat and goes to Rainbow's house only to meet a griffon named Gilda. Gilda turns out to be Rainbow's old friend and the pair spend some time together. Pinkie tries to join in, but Gilda constantly sends her away. Pinkie is convinced Gilda is bad and goes to Twilight and Spike for help. They tell her that she's being jealous and at first Pinkie refuses to accept it, but comes to terms that she may be just jealous. Her theory is proven wrong though as Gilda hangs out in Ponyville and causes trouble such as scaring Granny Smith, stealing an apple, and even making Fluttershy cry. Pinkie decides enough is enough and decides to teach her a lesson by throwing a Pinkie Pie party to welcome her. Gilda is happily welcomed by the other ponies and feels smug, but things go south for her really quick. All throughout the party Gilda runs into prank after prank that humiliates her and believes it's Pinkie's doing. Gilda eventually snaps and when she tells the ponies off and wants Rainbow to come with her, Rainbow makes a confession; she was the one setting up the pranks at the party. She tells Gilda that not all the pranks were meant for her and Pinkie only wanted to help Gilda be a friend. Rainbow tells Gilda off and Gilda decides to leave Ponyville. Rainbow apologizes for what happened and Twilight apologizes for not believing Pinkie at all. The party then continues and Twilight learns that true friends stick with you and the episode ends with Princess Celestia accidentally using invisible ink to write a letter. This was a very good episode and had plenty of great moments. I loved the pranks Pinkie and Rainbow pulled on the other ponies and on Gilda and made me laugh. My only issue had to be how Gilda made poor Fluttershy cry and hurt. I could have done without that. Overall, an excellent episode and funny to boot.

I thought that this was a great episode of "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic". It actually have been an excellent episode if it weren't for one major flaw. The one major flaw that I had with this episode that made my score low which was Gilda the Griffin. I just hated Gilda the Griffin so much. She was such a jerk to the ponies and I felt very bad for them and I really wanted to punch her so bad. I also hated how she was being a bully to Fluttershy and made her cry. Awww... I felt so bad for Fluttershy when she was crying... she is a cute and sensitive pony. Anyways, despite that jerk Gilda the Griffin. There were many funny parts in this episode. I loved how Rainbow Dash was trying to avoid from Pinkie Pie in the beginning of the episode. Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie pulling pranks on the ponies was very funny and enjoyable to watch. Also, Pinkie Pie setting up that party so Gilda can have a happy attitude was funny. Rainbow Dash setting all those pranks at the party was funny as well and I also liked how Rainbow Dash was standing up to Gilda. Overall, this episode would have actually been excellent if it weren't for Gilda the Griffin for being a huge jerk. 8/10moreless
