  • Excellent episode

To me this was another one of the best episodes of Friendship is Magic ever. It begins with Fluttershy taking care of some animals and finds a cute little bug. Meanwhile all of Ponyville is getting ready for a visit from Princess Celestia. Fluttershy shows it to the rest of her friends, and notice they keep multiplying. Pinkie Pie though knows that these bugs are called Parasprites and doesn't like them and goes off to gather instruments. Her friends though love them and take one home with them. The next day though Twilight Sparkle finds her library is filled with Parasprites. It's the same for her friend's homes as well and they all try to get rid of them. Twilight realizes that since the princess is coming they must get rid of the Parasprites and she and her friends scramble to remove them. Pinkie on the other hand continues to look for instruments and her friends just tell her off. Twilight casts a spell on the parasprites to stop them, but it causes them to eat the town instead. Twilight realizes they are doomed, but then comes Pinkie with a one pony band and plays a variety of instruments that causes the parasprites to follow her out of town. Princess Celestia shows up and Twilight tells her she learned that answers can come from an unexpected source and to listen to your friends. The princess doesn't come to Ponyville since she has to deal with an infestation in Fillydelphia and leaves. Twilight and her friends apologize to Pinkie for not listening to her and out episode ends with them looking at the damage of the town. This was an excellent episode and one of the best. I like Pinkie's musical march and how the parasprites were interacting with the other ponies. IT was a great episode and funny as well.

I thought that this was a great episode of "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic". It wasn't my favorite episode and it could have been better but it was overall great to watch and very enjoyable. Princess Celestia comes for a visit to Ponyville but Twilight must make sure that everything in Ponyville goes perfect until the Parasprites come into town. Everyone thinking that the Parasprites are cute was pretty funny. Spike was usual was funny in this episode. Twilight trying to make sure that everything goes perfect was also funny. Everything in this episode was pretty good even though some of the scenes were a little weak and kind of dragged. Pinkie Pie playing those instruments by making the Parasprites get out of Ponyville was also very funny. Princess Celestia's quick visit at the end of the epsiode was also very good. The ending was very funny as well. Overall, I thought that this was a great episode of "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic" even though some of the scenes were a little weak and could improved just a little more. 8.5/10moreless

  • NOTES (2)

    • Friendship Report: Twilight learned that the best solutions can come from the most unlikely of sources, and it was a good idea to listen to her friends' opinions and perspective, even if they might not make any sense at the time.

    • This episode revolves around all of the ponies.

  • ALLUSIONS (5)

    • Pinkie Pie leading the parasprties out of Ponyville using music is a reference to the story, The Pied Piper of Hamlen, where a man uses the music from his magic flute to lead a bunch of rats out of his town.

    • The parasprites are quite similar to the tribbles from the Star Trek episode "The Trouble with Tribbles."
