There's something about Billie in this hilarious episode, which has several great twists and turns, with Earl being refreshed about everything that's going on, Catalina's brief experimentation in lesbianism only going as far as licking a neck, and Earl getting married for a third time. While the Paco/Catalina relationship was funny the first instance, the repetition got old, but that doesn't bring the episode down any, with Frank at his most insane, an ex-cop getting in way over his head and the little Kenny that could.

The hilarious chase, and arguments throughout the episode are pure Earl, and this is a great instalment for the third season.moreless

I didn't like last week's episode very much, but this week Earl is back to top form.

After waking up from coma Earl tries to find his soul mate Billie, which turnes out to be harder than he thought, as he isn't the only one interested in her charms ;)

This was a great episode, and it only confirms that Alyssa Milano is a great addition to the show. She's just great as Billie, but the man who stole the show this week is Gregg Binkley (Kenny). He was absolutely hillarious.

I just really hope that after all Earl went through this season, the writers will let him be happy with Billie.

Waiting for the next episode, when hopefully Earl will get back to his list :)moreless

    • The title of this episode is a reference to a love triangle, which is a romantic relationship involving three people. Indeed, the relationship seen in this episode does include eight persons, hence the word "octagon": *Earl, Frank, Stewart and Catalina all try to seduce Billie. *Kenny is in love with Stewart. *Frank ends up with Jocelyn. *Catalina finally meets with her first love, Paco. Thus, the love octagon involves Earl, Frank, Stewart, Catalina, Billie, Kenny, Jocelyn and Paco. Edit
    • In previous episodes Randy had a phobia of birds so much so he ran away when he saw one. However, in this episode he not only accidentally sets free Billie's cousin's pet bird, he catches it and returns it to its cage without showing any fear. Edit
    • Featured Music: "Girlfriend In A Coma" by The Smiths (Stuart visits Billie) "Sexual Healing" by Marvin Gaye (Catalina falls in love with Billie) "Burning Love" by Elvis Presley (Closing scene) Edit

    • Frank: I need a job so I can get out of here every day. Randy: Maybe we can get him a job as a bikini inspector. I've seen the uniforms on sale at the mall. Or he can be a beaver hunter, but you might need a license for that. Edit
