  • First of all... Where was Brian Krakow?

This episode was interesting, but it wasn't to my liking. It was mushy all over, and no matter how hard the writers try, i just cannot get myself to sympathise with Angela's mother at all. I don't care if she doesn't approve of Angela's friends and just wants to protect her, she is a teenager, give her a little space.

There was a BIG episode chunk dedicated to Angela's parents, and I've said it before... I'm not a big fan on the older people plots. I kinda zoned out when their parts came on and came and went until it was over, and it really made no difference because in the end i still got what they were going on about. Rayanne's party was a little self-indulgent and it didn't look like it was that happening either. Her house didn't even look packed to capacity. I liked Rickie trying to protect Ray, but there were some times where i though Rickie was just trying too hard and it made it seem fake. If you think about it, Angela was hardly in the episode. She was kinda like just a simple plot device to keep the episode from going on. This ep wasn't that bad, but it wasn't great either. I'm just not into these types of storylines. But I've got to tell you, it would have been a lot better if Brian was in this. Yep, i'm a big fan of the Krakow. And now that i think about it, Jordan wasn't in this either. See? It wasnt really about Angela after all.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • How did Angela get to Rayanne's party so quickly if, as stated previously in the episode, it's 20 minutes away and, as we see in "Pressure", she can't drive?

  • QUOTES (2)

    • Angela: Walking into someone's house for the first time is like entering another country. Not that I've ever been to another country.

    • Rickie: How much have you had to drink today?
      Angela: She's been drinking?!
Rayanne: Uh, I dunno. (laughs) But Rickie, you should have seen the stars this morning. They were so purple, and pretty!

  • NOTES (3)

    • Vivian: You know who you look like? Who is that little Swedish girl with the monkey?
      Danielle: Pippi Longstocking?

Pippi Longstocking, a fictional character in a series of children's books by Astrid Lindgren, is known for wearing her hair in pigtail braids.
