My Talk Show was an American television comedy that aired for one season from September 1, 1990 to August 1, 1991. It was directed by Kelly D. Hommon, and the primary writers were Andy Cowan and Susan Gauthier. This series was about a talk show in a small town in Wisconsin. The television station can't afford a real set, so the talk show is filmed in the living room of Jennifer Bass (Cynthia Stephenson), the talk show's hostess. Most of the guests on the show are completely ordinary people such as her neighbors or the town's dogcatcher. The talk show occasionally has named stars who are passing through town. These stars typically offer humorous excuses for appearing on such an obscure talk show. Jennifer interviews her guests while performing household chores and she often burns meals during the taping. Additional running jokes involve Jennifer's constant bickering with her sidekick Anne Marie Snelling (Anne Marie Snelling) about minor matters.
