Former child actor Tommy Cole, was one of only nine original Mouseketeers to last the entire duration of "The Mickey Mouse Club" from 1955 to 1959. These days Cole still works in the business, but under the guise of a make-up artist.

Seeing as this particular episode focuses on cars, here is as good a place as any to note that cars from the Pontiac Motor Division of General Motors Corporation (GMC) take over as the main supplier of cars for the series from this fourth season. The producers' previous sponsorship contract with Chevrolet had run its course, and come the following year they were to sponsor another long-running sitcom hit in "Bewitched" which would premiere on ABC in September, 1964 and run a respectable eight seasons.
