Although Barbara is feeling very ill, she is saddled with the responsibility of looking after the entire Douglas household but in the end, to escape the pressure, she just walks out leaving Steve in a worried state.

      • The theme of this episode is repeated from a recent airing. Just two episodes prior to this, Steve had a bad day.

      • This episode marked the 18th and final contribution of Lois Hire as a member of the show's writing staff, under the supervision of the show's Story Editor George Tibbles. She would again work as a writer for Tibbles several years later when he Executive Produced the "Hello Larry" series (1979-80) for NBC. Born in May, 1916 Lois Hire would pass away in March, 2006 aged 89.

      • In the tag scene, Barbara estimates it will be 1984 before her next bad day, giving the indication that it only happens once every thirteen years!
