      • Despite what can be found elsewhere on the internet, this episode is not titled "Cheer Up Katie Week". The above title is the correct one.

      • Veteran television comedy writer Joe Connelly died on February 13, 2003 aged 86. The father of six children, some of whom were his inspiration for story lines on "Leave It To Beaver", he passed away after complications from a stroke, but had in fact been quite incapacitated since the mid 1980s.

      • Writer Joe Connelly, together with Bob Mosher were the creative force behind "Leave It To Beaver" and "The Munsters". Whilst "My Three Sons" head writer George Tibbles got his first start in Television writing for early Don Fedderson Productions like "The Betty White Show" and "The Millionaire", he also worked on "Beaver". Obviously he thought it was payback time and hired his former boss.
