Steve sails aboard the S.S. Carolina in order to establish a business contract with a firm but his task is complicated by Robbie who has a vacationing job as a steward onboard the same liner. They both find that business and pleasure do sometimes mix.

      • Sid Sidman was the right hand man to every director used on "My Three Sons" during its twelve year run. As Assistant Director he also worked closely with Production Supervisor John G. Stephens. 1st A.D's keep everything moving and are responsible for seeing that the entire production is on schedule and within budget and that all scenes are covered. Sid Sidman's role was to supervise the actions of the talent, staff and crew for the Director and he was an integral part of Don Fedderson Productions.

      • Veteran french character actor Maurice Marsac appears uncredited as the Head Waiter.

      • While on-board ship, Steve reads the Engineer's handbook "Stress and Torque".

      • Jim Kern joins the company as staff director. He was previously responsible for two seasons of "I Love Lucy" (the Hollywood and Europe episodes). He would direct "My Three Sons" until his death in November 1966 (mid way through the seventh season).
