      • It should be noted here that General Motors Corporation ends its sponsorship of the show at the end of this eleventh season. The Ford Marketing Division will supply Ford-manufactured cars to be liberally seen during the last season of the show. In the 1970s the division was responsible for developing and implementing advertising and customer marketing strategies for Ford's consumer operations.

      • While most of us can remember the Douglases Bryant Park address (837 Mill Street), this is only one of two episodes that ever gave their California address; Ernie tells Debbie that he lives at 5272 Woodstock Street, although in a Season 10 episode it was Elm Street! The house number is also an "in-joke", and you can read more about that in the notes for Episode # 249.

      • Tina Cole (Katie) and Beverly Garland (Barbara) were once interviewed on the Lifetime channel where they even mocked what they referred to as the "Stepford Wives" period of "My Three Sons" where the women were all bleached blonde and were very domestic! Beverly: "My most vivid memory of the show is that we all kind of looked like the Stepford Wives. Didn't we?". Tina: "Oh we were!" Beverly: "We had 17 things of eyelashes on. I mean, our hair was never messy. When we woke up in the morning, we were perfect. We went: (Beverly yawns) 'What time is it?' (pause for laughs) 'Mother, good morning' (more laughs) Our lipstick was wonderful. Not a hair out of place. Our makeup was just wonderful."

      • Brooke Bundy has a long career of being the supporting actress on numerous shows. Why she was made to act like a teenager when in fact she was much older is strange. She played a co-ed of Robbie's back in the third season, and was born the same year (1944) as Don Grady. In fact when this episode aired, she had been married almost ten years in real life to the actor Peter Helm. Ironically three years later she would play actor Ken Berry's wife in "The Brady Bunch" episode 'Kelly's Kids' and the same year played another wife in an episode of "The Partridge Family" titled 'Heartbreak Keith'.
