      • The original registration lodgement date (with the Writer's Guild) for the script of this particular episode was April 27, 1970. However, the Revised first draft script (the actual shooting copy) was dated May 28, 1970.

      • Dawn Lyn was gracious in recalling her memories of the show for me and remembers that "Dodie and her friend hail a cab to bring them home but they don't know the address and describe how to get to the Douglas house by landmarks. Well, we were rehearsing the scene while sitting in a 'cab' on the studio backlot. Family Affair was filming at the same time only a couple of soundstages away. While we were rehearsing, the show's star Brian Keith walked up and interrupted to say hello to me. Precocious little thing that I was I proceeded to scold him for interrupting. The cast and crew went silent thinking how dare I talk to him that way! He laughed and said that I was right and apologized for interrupting".

      • Co-writer Dennis Whitcomb was also an actor having appeared in both a first and second season episode of the show.

      • Black character actor Vincent Howard was one of the most respected artists in Hollywood. Now retired from acting he has appeared in dozens of films and episodic television productions from the 1960s - 1990s. This episode was in fact his third guest starring role on the series.
