      • The original press sheet from CBS Films says in the logline that Steve is the one who comes up with the solution to save the party. Sometimes this finds its way into the plot description in local tv guides and newspapers for stations currently airing the show. But it is definitely Ernie who has the idea for live music to keep Chip's party going, not Steve. In fact, Chip later thanks Ernie for it.

      • Jean Engstrom who appears in this episode, was the mother of Jena Engstrom, (b. 1941). [Jena appeared in the episode "The Crush" from the second season]. Jena stopped acting in 1964, but mother and daughter's acting credits seemed to have been mixed together under the same name due to the similarity in the spelling of their first names.
