      • You have to wonder if Leon Belasco was in fact a real musician. The actor who would die in 1988 aged 86, appeared in both character parts and musician roles over the years. He appeared as the harrassed Concert Master (Principal Violinist) in the under-rated 1963 episode of "The Lucy Show" titled 'Lucy Conducts a Symphony' which (according to Geoffrey Mark Fidelman in his mammoth "Lucy Book") is a tour-de-force for Lucille Ball, whose silent performance is as good as anything she has ever done, but for some reason is usually overlooked in discussions of her work.

      • Veteran character actor Jerry Hausner (1909-93) is best remembered as Jerry the agent on "I Love Lucy" (1951-57) during its first few years. He left the series after a fight with Desi Arnaz during the filming of a 1953 episode, witnessed by the studio audience. Despite staying friendly with Lucille Ball in later years, he remained bitter towards Arnaz for the rest of his life.
