  • NOTES (6)

    • Despite what can be found elsewhere on the internet, this episode is not titled "Katie Sings for her Supper". The above title is the correct one.

    • Guest star Anthony Caruso passed away on April 4, 2003 aged 86.

    • Neither Stanley or Barry Livingston (as Chip and Ernie) are featured in this episode, making you wonder why the show was still named "My Three Sons"

    • There is a small continuity error at the end of this episode. We are told that little Charley has the beginnings of a cold but in the next scene when Katie tells her boss she is quitting, Steve tells Katie that as little Robbie has the sniffles they can look after him if she wanted to keep on working.

    • Katie sings the song, "The Fountain", Words and Music by Don Grady. (Allegedly this is a song that Don wrote after he broke up with Tina Cole before she married Volney Howard III in 1965). Although by this time Grady had left the show, he recorded the instrumental of the track for use in this episode.

    • The name of the coffee house is the Osserpse, which is Espresso spelt backwards.
