      • The music for this episode was scored by Jeff Alexander.

      • Butch Patrick, who co-starred in "The Munsters" (1964-66) on CBS, assumes the role of Ernie's next door neighbor and friend Gordon Dearing who was originally played by Kevin Tate the previous season.

      • Tramp had previously become a father in the Season 2 episode, "Birds and Bees".

      • Even though she had given birth to her real-life son approximately six months before joining the show in the previous season, Tina Cole (as Katie) had troubles looking pregnant. Three different types of foam, over the months, were used to simulate her increasing pregnancy. In the later segments weights had to be strapped onto the foam to give the semblance of heaviness while a stand-in took Cole's place under the hot lights until they were ready to shoot.
