      • Driving on the way to Puerto Munoz, Mexico from Los Angeles after their wedding, Steve and Barbara have a flat tyre and must change it on the side of the highway. As pure coincidence when middle son Chip elopes to Mexico from Las Vegas the following year, the young newlyweds also encounter car trouble and have to be towed into the Mexican village by mule.

      • Steve offers a toast to Barbara in Spanish that goes something like (and excuse the spelling if its wrong) "Salut, amour, e'pesatas, y el tiempo para gastarlos". Translated to English this beautiful phrase is "Health, Love and Money, and may you have the time to spend them". Strangely enough I checked the English phrasing with a well known Spanish translation service which indicates it should really have been "El amor, la salud y el dinero y pueden usted tener la época de pasarlos"!

      • Rick Kelman was a former child star who might best be remembered for his one-season role as John Hadley on the "National Velvet" TV Series (1961-62). As Ricky Kelman, he co-starred along with Fred MacMurray in the 1966 Disney film, "Follow Me, Boys!"

      • Paul Petersen is best remembered as the teenaged Jeff Stone on "The Donna Reed Show" (1958-63). More recently he has run a support group for former child stars. (As of December 2001) Paul is still heading up the growing advocacy group, A Minor Consideration, protecting young show business professionals.
