      • Media writer Nina Liebman was spot-on in her assessment of this episode and said that, 'because the family is seen week after week, any extreme example of anxiety or discord had to be resolved quickly, lest the audience carried it with them into the following week's episode. In "My Three Strikers" , Steve and Mike argue over chores and allowances, but the conflict is resolved quickly and invisibly during a commercial break. By the end of the episode the two are happily reconciled so that Steve can worry about a new problem the next week. Mike knows his Dad loves him; it's just that he wants more money'.
