      • Mike Mahaffey appears in a small role as one of the Cornell brothers named Fred. Mike's daughter-in-law Daina emailed me and was glad to relay that in fact Mike mentioned that they were told to intimidate the actor playing Robbie. Mike obviously had no problem, however he recalls that the actor playing the other "brother" David, messed up and they had to re-do the scene three times. He remembered that it took two and a half days to shoot it. He was paid $90.00 a day. He also appeared in a failed pilot called "R.B. and Myrnalene" with Ann B. Davis around the same time as this episode was filmed. (Special thanks to Richard Dawdy -- whose daughter Daina married Mike's son -- for the original information in his quest to track down the title of this episode for his daughter and her father-in-law).

      • Hope Sansberry was possibly best known in the recurring role of Colonel Hall's wife Nell, on "The Phil Silvers Show" (aka. "Sgt. Bilko") on CBS in the 1950s. The veteran character actress lived to the ripe old age of 96 and died in 1990 of natural causes.
