      • Nepotism alert! 21-year old Writer Doug Tibbles, whose father George not only created the series but was Head Writer for many seasons on the show, makes his professional debut here and would proceed to craft the plots of some 35 teleplays. In addition to this he would script episodes of "Bewitched" and "The Munsters" to name some of the classic sitcom fare that he created. He says he really had to prove himself as a writer, so that industry people wouldn't think his father was doing the work for him.

      • Not surprisingly, ample-proportioned actress Peggy Mondo, who appeared as a semi-regular on Don Fedderson's "To Rome With Love" series died aged 52 in 1991.

      • In one scene Steve is on the telephone to a "Miss Bernarducci" and this is a nod to the show's long-time Construction Supervisor Don Bernarducci.
