      • Judy Charbonneau plays a character named Trish in Episode # 27, but in this episode she is listed as Peggy's girlfriend. With Robbie speaking on the phone in at least two upcoming episodes to a girl named Trish, it isn't hard to believe that she could have played the same character in this one as well.

      • Steve asks Bub a question in this episode that isn't particularly funny in itself, but Bill Frawley's response is like quicksilver. Steve says "Oh, come on Bub. Don't you remember how it was when you were 15?" to which he replies, "Are you kidding? I can't remember what it was like when I was 50!". It's Frawley's delivery of the line that ultimately makes you laugh.

      • Marta Kristen's on-screen credit is mis-spelled Kristan.

      • Tomboy "Pig" is wearing a decidedly feminine dress, and now wants to be called Peggy! What's a fifteen year old guy to do when the best mechanic in the neighborhood gives up sparkplugs for perfume? Easy - learn to like the scent of perfume, and begrudgingly ask "Pig"--er, Peggy on a date! Robbie's perplexed, Peggy is petulant and hilarity is rampant.

      • Don Grady has his first on-screen kiss in this episode with guest star Marta Kristen who would soon find fame as Judy Robinson on "Lost In Space", but not before Kristen appears twice more on the series in the next few seasons.

      • The music for this episode was scored by David Raksin.
