      • Because of the 'Wonderland' Hotel, and the little girl named Alice, Steve doesn't believe the story Chip relates.
At the conclusion of the episode, he is reading a book called 'Fairy Tales' by Hans Christian Anderson.

      • Martha Stewart who appears as Alice's mother, is not the same person who was a broadcast journalist in the 1990s, and who apeared infrequently on "The Late Show" with David Letterman. This Martha was an actress from the 40s to the 60s. I can actually find no record of her appearing in anything after this episode in 1965. According to the Internet Movie Database, she was born in 1922.

      • Similarly, Charley mentions brother Bub in reference to their old vaudeville days, and this is the last episode that any Douglas sibling will even mention their Grandfather. Again, once the show moves to CBS, it will be as though Bub O'Casey had never existed, for he is never again mentioned in future storylines.

      • Uncle Charley continues to mention during this season that Mike, Robbie and Chip are his 'grand nephews' and that he is their 'great uncle'. When the series goes to CBS the following season, all such references will be forever dropped. It will simply be 'nephews' and 'uncle'.

      • Angela Cartwright had just finished filming her role in 20th Century Fox's "The Sound Of Music" and would shortly begin to co-star in her most famous role, as Penny Robinson in "Lost In Space" on CBS.
