      • Strangely enough, whilst most of these later second season episodes sport a 1962 Copyright date on the end credits, this episode (Production # 5272-0068) has a 1961 date, indicating that perhaps it was actually filmed much earlier in the season.

      • There are several uncredited roles in this episode including, the 2nd police officer, the 3rd police officer (Jody), Professor Adkins, Joe the waiter and the woman playing the waitress.

      • As noted in Episode # 41, Actor Dennis Whitcomb would eventually become a fully fledged writer and would write one and co-write another episode of "My Three Sons" later in the series.

      • Apparently veteran character actor Hank Patterson (1888-1975) was deaf. The dialogue coach, Adell Sliff, would lay on the floor and tap him on his leg with a yardstick when it was time for him to deliver his lines, a technique that was also used on his subsequent appearances as a semi-regular on the TV series "Petticoat Junction" and
        "Green Acres".

      • This episode features the sixth and final appearance of Andrew Colmar as Mike's friend.

      • Veteran character actor Normann Burton (1923-2003) appears uncredited as Police Sergeant Blake. Sadly, Burton was killed in an automobile accident near the California and Arizona borders on November 29, 2003 a few days short of his 80th birthday.
