      • We already know that Steve Douglas works as an Aeronatical and Missile Engineer at the Universal Research and Development Company; but in this episode it is revealed that he works exclusively in the Space Research Department.

      • Additional location scenes for this episode were filmed on the backlot of Desilu-Culver Studios. Now known simply as the Culver Studios, the backlot at the studio was affectionately named Forty Acres, and for movie fans, this was where producer David O. Selznick filmed the burning of Atlanta scenes for his classic "Gone With The Wind" film when the studio was then-named RKO-Pathe Studios.

      • The opening shot of this episode has Bub and the boys opening his surprise package from Ogalalla, Nebraska. You will note that it is clearly addressed to Michael Francis O'Casey, 837 Mill Street, but then the suburb and state are conveniently obscured. [The Douglases home town of Bryant Park will not be mentioned until the start of the third season]. Still, if anyone can decipher Sealse Moebnasi you are doing better than me!
