      • Meredith MacRae has stated that she and co-star Tim Considine actually dated during her time on the show, but that by the end of both their tenures, they had become married in real life to other people. Tim to actress Charlotte Stewart; Meredith to Desilu art director Richard Berger.

      • For trivia's sake we learn (and get to see) that "Mrs. Douglas" had the given name of Louise, and that she passed away suddenly just before Chip's first birthday.

      • The highlight of this episode is the toupee worn by Bill Frawley as he "relives" his courtship days. One must really feel for Tom Skerritt in this episode (in one of his earliest TV appearances), as he is seen mostly from behind or side-on, and his voiced is dubbed by Fred MacMurray!
