      • There is a great newspaper article that Steve reads to Uncle Charley on rampant life among teenagers who as we soon learn, was actually written by the Greek philosopher Socrates about teenagers who lived in Athens 2,500 years ago! For trivia sake and also because it was so well written, I offer for your enjoyment the text of the newspaper article:
"Young people today scoff at authority and applaud anarchy. They take no pride in accomplishment but praise the one among them who avoids work instead of the one who does a job well. They laugh at the virtues on which our fathers built a nation and glorify only the loud, the lazy, the incompetent. Unless these young people can be awakened in their responsibilities, what hope is there for our country, our civilization, the human race?"

      • As this episode was actually the last produced during the sixth season, it should be noted that Edmund Hartmann's "Produced by" credit shown during the closing credits, (like that of the Writer and Director credits moved this season), is relocated to the front of the show from the beginning of Season 7 and will remain there until the end of the show's long run.
