The role of the second nurse is credited to Lisa Benton on the original CBS Enterprises press sheet, not to red headed actress Ila Briton who actually plays the part.
This is the storyline that actually confirms that the Douglas triplets are indeed indentical. Various sets of twins portrayed the triplets and then later the Swanson triplets (who had reddish brown hair). The most remembered triplets are of course the Todd triplets (Michael, Daniel and Joseph) who start playing the Douglas triplets from Episode # 343. Their mother Lynn Todd recalled that they were still the best set of blond, blue-eyed boy triplets around. "Central casting remembered them and eventually hired them for the show when the boys were two and a half years old." Lynn also confirmed that her sons were also identical triplets. "They even have identical dental records" she said.
Chip recalls a similar lunch swiping incident from his past, and this is a thinly veiled reference to the fifth season episode "A Touch of Larceny".
A subplot of this episode has Ernie enduring a practical prankster at school who is stealing lunches from the students' lockers.
For the first time on the series there is a long-shot view on the footpath to the left of the Douglas house, which gives the impression that there is another house just in back.
