      • Bub and Steve croon at the end of the episode to the tune "Jada, Jada, Jada-Jada Jing, Jing, Jing!".

      • Ruthie's maiden name before marrying Elroy was Applegate.

      • The late Werner Klemperer (1920-2000), was best known for his TV role as the bumbling Colonel Wilhelm Klink on the classic "Hogan's Heroes" (1965-71). Although he'll forever be known as the commandant of Stalag 13, Klemperer actually fled Nazi Germany in the 1930s and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Klemperer only agreed to do the sitcom if producers promised never to have Klink succeed in his schemes. The now renowned role earned Klemperer four Emmy nominations while taking home the trophy two times in 1968 and 1969. Since then he carved out an accomplished musical career as a conductor and also served as a narrator with many major U.S. symphony orchestras. He was known as an accomplished concert violinist, and was married for many years to black actress Kim Hamilton, 20 years his junior. He succumbed to Cancer, aged 80 in December, 2000.

      • The Professor Engel character first appeared in Episode #92.
