      • The lady in the blue hat and dress that Ernie escorts to her seat is uncredited, but looks very much like character actress Gail Bonney.

      • Trivia: Who catches Katie's bridal bouquet at the family reception at the Douglas home? Why none other than youngest brother Ernie!

      • Even though the previous installment and this one were originally aired a week apart, in the storyline the day of the wedding continues directly from the last episode which ends the night before. This is good in reruns as when the series is stripped five days a week, "in the morning" is indeed the very next day.

      • The music for this episode was scored by Jeff Alexander.

      • Foreshadowing a pattern that will continue until the end of the series, multi-story elements are introduced in the first few episodes of each season, culminating in a big event. (ie. Robbie and Katie's wedding, The birth of the triplets, Steve marrying Barbara, Chip eloping with Polly and Scottish Cousin Fergus coming to America in search of a wife.) Its startling to think that Robbie and Katie have met and married all within a few episodes, yet oldest brother Mike was engaged to Sally for two full seasons before they married!
