John Carnahan appears uncredited as one of the neighborhood football players, and relates the following story. "A friend of mine's father worked on the show and told us they needed extras for an episode. We filmed two scenes over two days. The first one was done on location with us in football uniforms, the second was in the studio. I'm the kid who, in the last scene with the club gang, has the hat with a "C" pulled low over his eyes standing next to "Wheels". Even got to meet Fred MacMurray! I was only twelve years old at the time and they paid me $50 but if I could have afforded it I would have paid them!"
