Michael wants Jr. to learn the family business by starting at the bottom, so he assigns Jr. to do menial jobs around Kyle Trucking. Jr. however, decides to use the fact that he's the boss' son... more to his advantage and convinces other employees to do his work for him. Elsewhere Claire arranges a secret date with a guy she met on the Internet in a Shakespeare chat room. Well, for the past few weeks, I haven't been watching this show because I'm either busy being on this website and doing reviews OR doing homework/studying. Well, I was eating dinner and this episode came on so I decided to watch it. This is one of my favorite episodes of "My Wife and Kids". I don't know how many times I've seen this episode but all I know is that it never gets old for me and it makes me crack up from start to finish. The beginning of the episode was very funny. Michael was hilarious throughout the entire episode. Michael going on Claire's computer and reading Shakespeare stuff thinking it was perverted and disgusting also made me laugh very hard. I also laughed super hard when Michael was confronting that old man and pinched him in the nipples because he thought that he is the one who was communicating with Claire online which he didn't. The little boy turning out to be the one communicating with Claire online was hilarious and I also cracked up very hard when the little boy said that he was only born with one nipple. More parts in the "Michael trying to find who is communicating with Claire online" plot made me laugh hard as well. As for the Jr. plot with Jr. overworking Michael's employees and intimidating them was hilarious. Oh my gosh, Jr. saying "There is no e in team" literally made me laugh and slap my head at the same time. It was also hilarious when Jr, was apologizing to Michael's employees and then one of Michael's employees pulled down Jr.'s towel. I couldn't stop laughing from start to finish and I was eating at that time so I even choked a little on the way. :D haha. Definitely recommend this episode to any of the fans that need a really good laugh.... the storyline was excellent yet original and the humor was just non-stop magnificent. Overall, an excellent episode of "My Wife and Kids"... an episode that will never get old for me. 10/10moreless

    • (Michael takes the phone from Claire)
Michael: (to Claire) Who is this?
      Claire: Erica.
Michael: (into the phone) Hi, Erica? Yeah, it's God. Go to school. (He ends the phone call)
Claire: (to Michael) What are you doing with my phone?
      Michael: I'm confiscating it.
      Claire: Why?
Michael: Because you don't need all this technology. You're not this important. You're not with the CIA. (Claire's pager beeps and she looks at it) What are you doing now?
Claire: I'm answering my page. Oh, it's Erica. She wants to know who that God guy is and if he's cute!

    • Michael: (Reading as he types his response to Pervis) Parting is such sweet sorrow, and sorrow is what you gonna feel when I part your skull tomorrow!

  • NOTES (2)

  • ALLUSIONS (5)

    • Michael: Lucy!
This is a reference to I Love Lucy. Ricky would shout out his wife's name in this way whenever she did something he didn't approve of.

    • Michael: (Reading as he types his response to Pervis) Parting is such sweet sorrow....
This is a line exchanged between Juliet and Romeo as she says good night in the William Shakespeare play Romeo and Juliet.

    • Michael: (to Claire) From this day, I am taking you out of the matrix. You are unplugged, Trinity.
This is a reference to the 1999 film The Matrix.

    • Pervis: Good golly, Miss Molly.
This is the title of Little Richard song.

    • Michael: Up, up, and walk out of here!
This spoofs the trademark line – "up, up, and away" – of Clark Kent as he transforms into Superman.
