ACT ONE: In this act, we will tell of the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls by Mohammed the Wolf, a young shepherd boy. Within a few years, the Scrolls had become one of the most controversial documents ever uncovered, with literal wars, academic and otherwise, raging around their contents. We will pose some of the majore questions surrounding the Scrolls. Are they the earlies known version of the Bible? Do they prefigure Christianity? Who wrote them? Do they predict the coming of Jesus? Using the Scrolls as a jumping off point, at the end of this act we will journey back more than two thousand years to examine the genesis of the Bible and the legends that history tells us are fact. ACT TWO: Who was Jesus? Where was He born? Was His coming heralded by portents and astronomical phenomenon? In this act, we will first look at the world of the Holy Land at the time of Jesus' coming, and place the revelations of His ministry in the historical context of the time. Amazingly, the scribes who penned the Dead Sea Scrolls were waiting in the desert for the new Messiah, while just 15 miles away, the messiah had come. How do the accounts of the New Testament correspond with the history of the era recorded by the Romans? Did King Herod exist? In this act we will examine the life and times of Christ, taking us to those few days in Jerusalem, when Jesus put is life and beliefs to the ultimate test. ACT THREE: Who killed Christ?
