      • (in L. A. Confidential, Bud is questioning Lynn at her house)
Bud: He had you cut to look like Veronica Lake?
Lynn: No. I'm really a brunette. But the rest is me.
Mike: (as the shot goes back to Bud) Sgt. Chinbutt.
Lynn: And that's all the news that's fit to print.
Crow: So let's move to sports!
        Lynn: Nice meeting you, Officer.
Tom: (as Lynn opens her front door) Wow! That's the kind of door that really needs a moat outside to make it work.

      • (in Titanic, Brock shows Old Rose the items he recovered from her stateroom)
Mike: (as Rose picks up a hair comb) Oh, heavens, it's my Superfly fro pick!
Crow: Where the hell's the matching brush, you stkining thieves?
Tom: It's a bug hunt, man!

      • (over the Amistad clip)
Mike: There were some moving performances in this film, not the least among them Anthony Hopkins as the Lucky Charms leprechaun, and Morgan Freeman as Abraham Lincoln.
Crow: Now, don't forget the splendid perfomance of Dijonnaise Monsoon, recreating his role as the guy on the giant ball in the Janet Jackson video.
Tom: And a special mention goes to screen cipher Matthew McConaughey for his stirring portrayal of Mrs. Beasley, the doll from Family Affair.

      • (from Mrs. Brown)
Crow: This takes place after the death of Victoria's husband, Prince Albert, of 'in the can' fame.

        John Brown: I leave for...
Queen Victoria: The Queen forbids it!
Mike: Oh, like you rule the whole country...oh, you do.
Tom: (describing Victoria's outfit) It's hard to be sexy when you're dressed like Bat Masterson.

      • Crow: Phew! I almost got asphyxia singing that title!
Tom: Oh, don't worry, we'll shorten it in post-production.
        Crow: Oh, okay.
