I always act like them whenever I watch a movie.  I sometimes have to do it in my head.  Here's a quote

Me: *as the kids walk into the room with the chocolate waterfall in Willie Wonka* "this is our sceptic room".

Will you post them on youtube or something?  I'm thinking about doing that once I get a digital camera.

All the time, but only at home. To do it in an actual theater with other people would make you a jerk.

    TRY?????

Try to do what they do WELL, that's the question.

Can'tNOT do it, really. Not just for bad movies, but any movies I've seen before and therefore don't have to spend energy on following the plot. The Star Wars movies, as somebody mentioned, are great for it-- they're some of my favorutes so I've seen them so many times I can't watch them without changing dialogue, adding out-of-movie information, and yelling at the characters.

Now, is anything I say actually that FUNNY? Well... sometimes my husband hits on a good one.

    that second one was funny

and here's something I did on Revenge of the sith while Grievous is talking to the Viceroys

Grievous: I am sending to the mustafar system on the outer rim. It is a volcanic planet. You will be safe there.

    Me: Volcanoes are safe?

My friends and I would offer lame attempts at riffing on film strips and videos from middle school. Trying to do something like this myself only makes me appreciate more how brilliant the writers of MST3K were. It's easy to make the obvious comment ("that's gotta hurt!," etc.) but to offer the wide range of cultural references and high and low brow humor that they did was darn near genius. And to top it off, they were consistently funny for every season they were on the air.
