Say bye-bye to Rhino and say hello to Shout! Factory, as volume 10.2 will be Rhino's final DVD release before we see more MST episodes make it to DVD.

I think this is great news! Shout already has a link to MST3K - they're the studio that put out The Film Crew. Shout did a great job on those releases. Here's hoping we see more (and more regular) releases of some great episodes!

I just hope Shout makes the DVDs less expensive than the ones from Rhino. I also hear Rhino was going to release the MST3K version of The Giant Gilia Monster on a single disc.

They did say they were hoping to have their first DVD release sometime in the mid-year, but nothing's turned up yet.

The episode list has just been announced for Shout Factory's first set, the 20th Anniversary Edition on October 28. These episodes are:

    211: First Spaceship on Venus

    706: Laserblast

    904: Werewolf

    1004: Future War

One Joel and three Mike episodes. The choice selection for a rather deluxe edition is rather odd. (I wouldn't know if they are some of the best episodes of the series.) Still, at least we'll be treated to an episode from the short-lived seventh season, and a couple more from the underrated Sci-Fi Channel era.

the Sattelite News website posted a trailer for the new release.

you can see it at http://mst3kinfo.com even if it is as overpriced as rhino's releases at least it looks liek it will be packaged well.
