I think The Space Children might have been pretty good. Where there any others you guys kind of liked?

I think the uncut film of This Island Earth (since MST3K: The Movie used a shorter version) actually holds up as a pretty decent 1950s sci-fi movie. That doesn't mean it isn't riff-worthy ("That would mean something if your hands were made of metal."), but it may be a cut above the rest of the fodder for the gang.

I enjoyed all of the Russo-Finnish movies they did, i.e. The Day the Earth Froze, Jack Frost, The Sword and the Dragon, etc.

I'm sorry - you're talking about the movie with the butler who walked with the limp and the crazy ritual out in the dessert behind the house, right? You can't mean that you actually liked that movie.

That's crazy talk. It was a hilarious MST3K pick but c'mon - you would really watch that by itself?!

This is a kinda late respone but, I wrote that post as a joke or I was being sarcastic I honsestly dont remember. Manos is one of the worst movies ever made. Even the MST version of this episode was hard to sit through. Although there were a few funny schens in the movie like some of the ones with Torgo.

Heck, I liked "Parts: The Clonus Horror". It wasn't that bad; a good and really dark sci-fi story that would've been so much better if it had a larger budget.

Plus everybody knows this, but "Teenagers From Outer Space" was good, because of how poorly done this movie is. (Actually I wouldn't know if this does count.)

Also I liked the cartoon used in the movie "Merlin's Shop Of Mystical Wonders"--you know, the "Balloon Land" cartoon? It became a cult classic for the visually great Pincushion Man character, as it was considered one of the best cartoons by renowned cartoonist Ubi Iwerks, with music composed by WB musician Carl Stalling.

The Girl in Lovers Lane was pretty good on its own merit. And I like Master Ninja, I don't care what anyone says.

Pretty much anyone I talk to says "Manos Hands Of Fate" is the worst movie ever made, right alongside "Plan 9 From Outer Space"....

I forget the name of the movie, but it was the little critters that escaped the warehouse....and there was this girl w/ green tights and the boys called her a praying mantis....I'd like to get it just because it would crack me up....so bad it's good I guess is what I mean!!

I think Tormented wasn't that bad a movie. That was the one with the lighthouse, I think.

I'd have to say "The Magic Sword" (Ep. 411). Even the Amazing Colossal Episode Guide says it's a "pretty good movie," and it is. Cheap and cheesy, yes, but entertaining and not bad at all.
